SNOW IN DA SOUTH!

When Nanny called at 6:30 am and woke us up to tell us it was snowing, I had no idea that we were about to experience history. Real snow, not mere flurries that melt as soon as they hit the ground, but the real deal for the first time in Folsom, La. for as long as anyone can remember. We had almost a full foot of snow covering the ground. It snowed steadily for about 7 hours. It was an amazing sight to see. My grandmother, who is 86 and has lived here her whole life, said she has never seen anything like it, or even close to it.
